~ Fox Collections ~

Among the hundreds - perhaps thousands - of people who were associated with the Fox San Francisco, many took away souvenirs and artifacts from the either the building itself, or from performances unique to the theatre.

This was especially true towards the end, when it became apparent that the Fox's days were numbered. At that point, everything from light fixtures, to large pieces of baroque style furniture, to ornate brass restroom signs inlaid with milk glass, found their way into the hands of collectors and souvenir hunters.

We would like to invite those who have such collections or artifacts to share them with us at this site. Photographs and stories behind any Fox artifacts can be posted here for all to enjoy.
